This Disclaimer applies to the Scenario Studio website, demo platform and full feature platform operated by Scenario Studio (“SS”, “we”, “us”).
 

1. No Financial, Investment, Tax or Legal Advice

1.1 The Scenario Studio Platform, including all tools, calculators, projections, examples and other content (collectively, the “Content”), is provided for informational, self-directed analysis and educational purposes only.

 

1.2 Nothing on the Platform constitutes, or should be construed as:

  • Financial advice;

  • Investment, tax, legal or accounting advice;

  • A recommendation or endorsement of any particular investment, financial product or strategy.

 

1.3 The Platform does not take into account your specific financial situation, investment objectives, risk tolerance or particular needs. You are solely responsible for assessing whether any strategy, product or action is suitable for you.

 

1.4 Before making any financial or investment decision, you should consider seeking advice from a licensed financial adviser or other qualified professional.

 

2. No Guarantee of Accuracy, Completeness or Performance

 

2.1 While we make reasonable efforts to keep the Platform and Content accurate and up to date, we make no representation or warranty (express or implied) that any information, model, projection or output is accurate, complete, reliable, current or suitable for any particular purpose.

 

2.2 Any hypothetical returns, forecasts, scenario simulations or projections are based on assumptions that may not hold. Actual results and market conditions can differ significantly.

 

2.3 Past performance is not indicative of future results. You may lose money on investments, and you are solely responsible for any losses arising from decisions you make.

 

2.4 We are not responsible for any decision, action or inaction taken by you or any other person in reliance on the Platform or Content.

 

3. No Linking to Real Bank or Investment Portals

 

3.1 For security and privacy reasons, the Platform is designed for manual input only and does not connect to any real bank, brokerage, robo-adviser or other financial portals.

 

3.2 You must not enter your online banking or brokerage login credentials, OTPs, full account numbers, PINs, security answers or other sensitive authentication data into the Platform.

 

3.3 If you choose to manually enter reference information (e.g. nicknames or last 4 digits of an account number) for your own identification, you do so at your own discretion and risk. We recommend you keep this information high-level and non-sensitive.

 

4. Third-Party Content & Links

 

4.1 Any third-party content, tools, calculators or links made available on or through the Platform are provided for convenience only. They do not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by SS.

 

4.2 We are not responsible for the content, security, privacy practices or accuracy of any third-party sites or services. Your use of any third-party site or service is at your own risk.

 

5. Technology, Availability & Local Storage

 

5.1 The Platform relies on internet, hosting and browser technology, including use of your browser storage. These technologies can fail, be interrupted, corrupted or unavailable from time to time.

 

5.2 You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring you use compatible hardware, software and internet connections;

  • Backing up any important information in a secure manner;

  • Understanding that data stored locally in your browser may be lost (e.g. if you clear your cache, change devices or experience technical issues).

 

6. Limitation of Liability

 

6.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, SS and its founder, directors, officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive losses or damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, opportunity, data or goodwill arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your use or inability to use the Platform or Content;

  • Any reliance on projections, models or other outputs;

  • Any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the Platform or Content;

  • Any unauthorised access to or use of your account or data, where we have implemented reasonable security measures;

  • Any interruption, delay, failure or corruption of data related to your use of the Platform;

  • Any events beyond our reasonable control.

 

6.2 This Disclaimer is in addition to, and should be read together with, the Limitation of Liability and Indemnity clauses in the Terms of Use.

 

7. Governing Law

 

7.1 This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore and any disputes arising in connection with it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, as set out in the Terms of Use.
