1. Introduction

1.1 This Privacy Policy explains how Scenario Studio (“SS”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data in connection with the Scenario Studio website, demo platform and modelling platform (the “Platform”).

 

1.2 This Policy applies to:

• visitors of our website and demo platform; and

• registered users of our full version modelling platform and subscription plans.

 

It does not apply to any external websites, apps or services that we do not own or control, even if we link to them from our Platform.

1.3 We are committed to complying with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) and other applicable data protection laws.

 

1.4 This Privacy Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Use and Disclaimer. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data as described in this Policy.

 

2. What We Collect

 

2.1 Account data (paid wealth platform only):

  • Email address

  • Password (we store only a hashed version, not your plain-text password). For security, passwords must:

– be at least 8 characters long

– contain at least 1 letter, 1 number and 1 special character

– not contain spaces

– are case-sensitive

 

2.2 Optional data you input, such as:

  • Account nicknames and (optionally) the last 4 digits of an account number

  • Account balances and interest rates (for modelling only)

  • Goals (e.g. target amount, timeline, category, priority)

  • Net worth breakdown (e.g. types of assets and liabilities)

  • Scenario variables (e.g. growth rates, assumptions for modelling)

 

2.3 Support and communication data:

  • Information you provide if you contact us through forms or email, e.g. your name, email, message content and any attachments.

 

2.4 Technical and usage data (limited):

  • Basic information automatically made available by your browser or device (e.g. IP address, browser type, device type).

  • We do not currently use third-party analytics tools (like Google Analytics) or behavioural tracking scripts on the Platform.

 

2.5 Demo platform vs full feature platform:

  • In the demo version, inputs are typically stored in your browser storage and not persisted or stored in our Wix-hosted CMS.

  • In the full feature platform, goal-related data and certain configuration data are stored in our Wix-hosted CMS so that you can revisit and update them. The modelling data are stored in your browser storage and not stored in our Wix-hosted CMS.

 

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data for the following purposes:

3.1 To provide and operate the Platform & Services, including:

  • Creating and managing your account;

  • Saving and retrieving your goals and configuration;

  • Running calculations and models you request.

 

3.2 To manage subscriptions and payments, including:

  • Processing subscription payments via our payment processors;

  • Managing renewals, plan changes and cancellations;

  • Handling billing-related queries.

3.3 To communicate with you, including:

  • Sending important service and security notifications;

  • Responding to your enquiries and support requests;

  • If and when we introduce marketing emails, sending them only where permitted by law and with appropriate consent/unsubscribe options.

 

3.4 To maintain security, prevent abuse and comply with law, including:

  • Monitoring for suspicious or unauthorised activity;

  • Responding to legal requests and complying with legal obligations;

  • Enforcing our Terms of Use.

 

3.5 For internal administration and improvement, including:

  • Analysing anonymised/aggregated data to improve features and user experience;

  • Planning and operating our business.

 

We will not sell your personal data to third parties.

 

4. Data Storage, Hosting & Transfers

 

4.1 The Platform is built on Wix, which provides hosting and CMS infrastructure. Your stored account and goal data are held on Wix’s systems and are subject to Wix’s security and hosting practices.

 

4.2 Because Wix and some of our service providers may store data on servers located outside Singapore, your personal data may be transferred and stored in other jurisdictions. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure that such transfers comply with the PDPA and that appropriate safeguards are in place.

 

4.3 We retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide you with the Services;

  • Comply with legal obligations;

  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

 

5. Use of Local Storage & Cookies

 

5.1 The Platform uses browser local storage for certain demo functionalities and for improving user experience (for example, remembering your demo inputs on your device). This data is stored on your device, not on our servers.

 

5.2 We currently do not use cookies or third-party analytics tags for tracking or advertising. However, Wix or embedded payment providers (e.g. PayPal) may use their own cookies that are strictly necessary for security and payment flows.

 

5.3 You can manage your browser settings to control or clear cookies and local storage. Note that disabling these features may affect how the Platform works.

 

6. Disclosure of Personal Data

We may disclose personal data to the following categories of recipients, only to the extent reasonably necessary:

 

6.1 Service providers and vendors, such as:

  • Hosting and platform providers (e.g. Wix);

  • Payment processors (e.g. PayPal, PayNow);

  • Professional advisers (e.g. legal, accounting) under confidentiality obligations.

 

6.2 Regulators, authorities or other parties where required by law, regulation, court order or government request.

 

6.3 Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of assets, your personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to confidentiality protections and continued compliance with applicable law.

We do not share your personal data with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

 

7. Data Accuracy, Access, Correction & Withdrawal of Consent

 

7.1 You are responsible for ensuring that any personal data you provide is accurate and complete.

 

7.2 Subject to applicable law, you may request:

  • Access to personal data we hold about you;

  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;

  • Information about how your data has been used or disclosed;

  • Withdrawal of your consent to continued collection, use or disclosure of your personal data.

7.4 Withdrawal of consent may affect your ability to use the Platform (for example, if we can no longer store your email and account data, we may have to close your account). Even if you withdraw consent, we may retain certain data where required or permitted by law (e.g. for accounting, tax or dispute resolution).

 

8. Security

 

8.1 We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, use, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

 

8.2 However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You acknowledge that you provide your personal data at your own risk.

 

8.3 If you believe your account or data has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

 

9. Children’s Privacy

 

9.1 The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.

 

9.2 If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under 18 has provided personal data to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate steps to delete such data and, if applicable, close the account.

 

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

 

10.1 We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on the Platform with a revised “Last Updated” date.

 

10.2 Your continued use of the Platform after the updated Policy takes effect constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of the changes.
